Charles I. Stein, MD, FACOG

Charles "Charlie" I. Stein, MD, FACOG, FASLS, is a highly experienced physician specializing in laser medicine, surgery, and advanced vein treatment at Vascular Vein Centers, with locations in Orlando, Waterford Lakes of East Orlando, Kissimmee, Lake Mary, The Villages, and Davenport/Haines City, Florida. Born and raised in Sanford, Florida, Dr. Stein has dedicated his career to caring for patients throughout the state, bringing more than four decades of medical expertise to his practice.

Dr. Stein holds dual credentials as both a pharmacist and a board-certified physician. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the Georgia School of Pharmacy before completing his medical degree at Universidad Autónoma de Guadalajara (UAG) and the Medical College of Georgia. He is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (FACOG) as well as a Fellow of the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery (FASLMS). His additional certifications include microsurgery and ultrasound.

After extensive training, Dr. Stein practiced gynecologic surgical oncology, where he treated women with complex and often life-altering conditions. During this time, he recognized that venous disease was another significant and underaddressed source of discomfort, stress, and health concerns for many patients. This insight led him to pursue advanced training in phlebology and actively participate in national vein and phlebology societies.

For more than 25 years, Dr. Stein has focused on diagnosing and treating vein conditions using modern, minimally invasive techniques. Today, he devotes his full attention to vein care, combining precision, experience, and compassion to help patients achieve improved comfort, confidence, and quality of life.

Dr. Stein is fluent in Spanish and proudly serves a diverse patient community.
